Workshops
10:30am-11:30am-Rug Hooking with Roving
Learn how to make a sheep pillow with wool roving using the
traditional rug hooking method. Pillow works up quickly and is a
great beginner project.
12:00pm-1:00pm-Natural Dyeing
Learn to dye yarn using locally growing plants & flowers.
1:30pm-2:30pm-Drop Spinning
Learn to spin using a CD spindle.
3:00pm-4:00pm-Beginner Lace Knitting:
Learn to knit an elegant yet simple lace scarf using lace weight
alpaca yarn. Participants must know how to cast on and how to knit.
This is the perfect pattern for your first lace project.
All workshops are free to attend. Each presenter will have a
material kit for you to purchase. Each workshop is limited to
10 participants so arrive early to register!

Activity
