It was a very busy weekend at the Vermont Sheep and Wool festival, the weather was gorgeous and we had a successful two days. I planned on walking around, taking pictures of the festival inside and out but that never happened, just a few to share.
Join us for the 25th Annual Vermont Sheep & Wool Festival!
September 28 & 29, 2013
Sheep – Goats – Alpacas – Llamas - Rabbits. The Animal Barn also includes vendors offering all your favorite fibers and yarn along with equipment and supplies.
Over 70 vendors offering fleece and yarn, handspinning and fibercrafting equipment and supplies, handcrafted wool items, small ruminant equipment and supplies, fencing materials, meat and cheese.
Our workshops are designed to educate owners – and future owners – of small ruminants. This year’s offerings focus on the basic care and feeding of sheep. Many thanks to Alison Cornwall, DVM and Chet Parsons for taking the time to lead our Shepherd Workshops.
We’d love to hear from you with suggestions for future workshops or if you have the knowledge and skills to teach a Shepherd Workshop.
This year our class options include a variety of full and half day sessions featuring spinning, dyeing, needle felting and weaving beginning on Friday, Sept 27. Register for a class and receive a free pass to the Festival!
