My son Chris and his girl friend Emily took a natural dye workshop while visiting Mexico this winter. The pictures were taken at a rug weaving studio in Tlacolula Oaxaca Mexico.
Some of the dyes used are cochineal, pomegranate (skin and flesh), bark, tea, and guajillo; they used limestone to change the colors.
Oh I want to take that class!!! Will she do a class for us?
