HOW did you get that beautiful orange/salmon color?
I have some Hopi Red Amaranth growing in my garden this year and I've been researching how to get something other than yellow from it, but haven't found anything until I found your blog.
Can you give me some details? What type of yarn? What mordant? How did you prepare/use the dye bath? Any hints/tips/tricks?
PLEASE, please, please enlighten me. I LOVE the color you got on your yarn and everyone else I speak to says they can only get yellows.
